I had already forgotten that I had done these illustrations for a biology book by Zanichelli. While I was building my portfolio, proofs of prints of this lion appeared to me... this lion is a small size tempera.
I made illustrations for the first Italian edition of BSCS biology books... in those years everything was done by hand: the only technological tool I had in the studio was a photocopier... a luxury!
